Solar park maintenance
At Nordcode, we take care of the monitoring and maintenance of your solar park. Our comprehensive annual maintenance service ensures every aspect of your solar park is inspected and functioning optimally.
Our solar park maintenance includes:
- Inspection of the condition of solar panels
- Inverter checks and software updates
- Inspection and measurement of electrical connections
- Thermal imaging of solar panels and connections
- Inspection of frames and mounts
How often should maintenance be performed?
We recommend performing a full check of your solar park at least once a year. In addition to regular maintenance, for larger solar parks, we advise signing a maintenance contract that ensures prompt response and resolution of any issues under agreed conditions. Solar power systems consist of long-term warranty products that must be regularly inspected to maintain their performance. You can read more about our product warranty terms here.
Thermal Drone Analysis
To add value to your solar park, we offer thermo-diagnostic drone inspections of solar panels. Drones provide a thorough overview of what’s happening in the solar park. Equipped with specialised thermal cameras, these drones can convert heat energy into visible data, offering insights into issues that might have previously gone unnoticed. This analysis can detect production inefficiencies, cracks, faulty connections, and temporary shading. Additionally, drones make data collection faster and safer.
Additional Maintenance Services
For larger solar parks, installing security systems to protect against theft and vandalism may be necessary. We recommend installing cameras during the early construction phases of the solar park. Unfortunately, experience has shown that this is sometimes the only way to safeguard client property and prevent the disappearance of solar panels from the site during work. In addition to technical security equipment, we also suggest installing locked metal fences around the solar park. A fenced-off area ensures the safety of electrical equipment and keeps unauthorised individuals away from the solar park.
